Revenue for the first-half of fiscal 2017Published on July 13, 2017
Tronics, a TDK Group Company that designs and manufactures innovative nano and microsystems, has announced its revenue for the first-half of fiscal 2017 (January 1 to June 30, 2017).
Revenue for the first-half of 2017, which totalled nearly €3.0M, remained stable at the same level as for the first half of 2016, despite the transfer of the manufacturing activities in Dallas to a new production facility. This temporary slowdown of activities in the United States was compensated by a steady growth in Crolles, France, in manufacturing as well as engineering.
In total, engineering activities accounted for €1.7M of the revenue in the first-half of fiscal 2017 (versus €2.0M in the first half of 2016), and manufacturing activities for €1.3M (versus €1.1M in the first half of 2016).
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY APPROVES THE MODIFICATION OF THE OPENING AND CLOSING DATE OF THE FISCAL YEAR
The General Assembly meeting on May 24, 2017, approved the modification of the closing date of Tronics’ fiscal year to the March 31 of each year (versus December 31 as of today), in order to bring it into line with that of EPCOS AG. Tronics will announce its intermediate first half results, for the period from January 1 to June 30, 2017, on September 27, 2017, after the closing of the Paris Euronext Growth market.
