Tronics Expands its Manufacturing Facilities

Tronics Expands its Manufacturing Facilities and Headquarters

GRENOBLE, France, DALLAS, TX and SAN JOSE, CA U.S.A — September 20, 2011

Following several years of solid performance and a recent increase in bookings, Tronics has invested in a much larger headquarters in Grenoble and is expanding its manufacturing facilities.

Since 2003, Tronics, had been located in a 1400 square meter building housing both its offices and clean rooms. In 2011, Tronics decided to expand both its office and manufacturing areas by moving all offices and engineering labs to a new building across the street. The high-end 1500 square meter building was renovated during Q2, and the move took place mid August. The former office space will now be used exclusively for manufacturing, including a new back-end clean room. This new space will provide more assembly capacity and process capabilities. Overall half a million euros were invested for this expansion, excluding new equipment. The project is self funded and will be 100% complete by the end of 2011.

“This significant step will be very positive for both our employees and customers. It prepares us for the strong growth we foresee in the next 5 years.” Says Peter Pfluger, CEO of Tronics.
